Wayne Pinkerton, First Baptist-Madison, MS

February 22, 2022, Wayne Pinkerton was our Madison Lions Club guest speaker.  Wayne is the Business Manager for First Baptist Church, Madison, MS.  He spoke about his younger years with a Lions Club in Mississippi and the impact it had on his life.

He then talked about his college baseball career at Mississippi State University and being drafted into Major League Baseball.  His hilarious story about his first start for the team and being forced to bat left-handed.

He had all of us laughing!  In all that is going on in this world, moments of laughing is good for all of us.
