Tammy Tadlock with Lighthouse Learning Center was our Madison Lions Club speaker on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.

Steeped in a tradition of academic and therapeutic excellence, the Little Light House is a tuition-free Developmental Center that for over three decades, has been making a difference in the lives of hundreds of children with special needs. Founded in Tulsa, Oklahoma, opened its first affiliate school in Central Mississippi, in January of 2006. Located at Christ United Methodist Church in Jackson, the Little Light House-Central Mississippi is financial and operationally independent of its parent school in Tulsa.

Families with children with special needs already incur a mountain of medical debt, so they are a tuition-free facility.

The Little Light House serves children aged birth through six with special needs. Their students come from a variety of religious and ethnic backgrounds and have been diagnosed with developmental delays resulting from physical and mentally challenging conditions. Their disabilities include Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Hydrocephaly, Autism, and a range of other disorders.

Thank you Tammy for your time in a very eye-opening presentation about this wonderful program.
