Randy Davis, Governor of District 30-S was our guest speaker on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Randy reminded us of all we as men and women and Lions have been facing this past year with COVID-19. However, he and we are optimistically the corner has been turned and we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!
Randy Davis joined the Wesson Lions Club in August of 1981. He has served on the board of directors, club President twice, and will be the president again in 2021-22. Randy served as Zone Chairperson twice as well as a member on the Hearing & Deaf Committee. Over the years he has made many trips to the Boys & Girls Leadership camps, was a participant in the Mississippi Lions Leadership Institute, and attended the USA/Canada Leadership Forum in Spokane, Washington.
After serving as Vice District Governor under DG’s Carl Nehlig and Larry De Leon, he is now following in the footsteps of DG’s Bill Thames and Howell Garner as the third District Governor from the Wesson Lions Club. It has been his pleasure to serve along with Vice DG’s Charles Cruthirds and Greg Palmer. He is married to Lion Suzanne Davis who is the Tail Twister of the Wesson club.
We Lions in District 30-S are proud of the work Randy has done in the past and this year during COVID-19. Thank you, Randy, for your great leadership.
