September 15-17, 2022, were the dates for the USA/Canada Forum in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Pictured above is the contingency of Multiple District 30 that participated in the seminars and other activities associated with this annual Lions Clubs event. Pictured (l-r) are Tom Corlett, Greg Palmer, International President Brian Sheehan, Wayne Ebelhar, Dorothy Nelig, Carl Nelig, Amy Harrison and PID Bruce Beck.

There were over seventy seminars available over the three-day period. You had to choose which seminar to attend at each time slot. Seminars included such topics as Computer Viruses-Spyware, etc, to Lions Quest for children at risk, Cyber Clubs, Branch Clubs, and Specialty Clubs just to name a few.

Each seminar was presented by a professional Lions Club member to provide either new material or reinforce or add previous knowledge on the subject. They were excellent and worth the time and money to attend.

At the lunch hour and evening meal, we were treated to motivational speakers who were outstanding in their field.

Of course, you had the opportunity to renew friendships or create new friendships with fellow Lions that you would only see at the International Convention or the USA/Canada Forum.

Next year’s Forum will be in the beautiful setting of Reno, Nevada. Start making your plans to attend.

Following the forum, Tom Corlett, Sandi Corlett, Dianne Palmer and Greg Palmer added a few days to visit Banff, Lake Louise and Canmore, in the Canadian Rockies. The images below were from that area, taken by Greg Palmer. The four of us enjoyed not only the beautiful scenery but the much cooler weather than experienced in Mississippi!
