On Saturday, September 3, 2022, twenty-seven Lions from District 30-S gathered at Trustmark Park to watch the MS Braves play baseball. This is the second annual Lions have met as a group here.
While the weather canceled the baseball game, we Lions had a great time visiting and eating some good food on the second level of the park. Ceiling fans were on that kept our area cooler.
A big thank you to Rita Robbins, Hazlehurst Lions President, for setting taking care of the details for us to meet for the game. And, this club had several members present that evening.
District Governor, Greg Palmer, presented Rita Robbins, a commemorative pin celebrating 35 years of women being in Lions Clubs around the world. Well deserved, Rita, for all you do for your club, District 30-S, and our state.
Thank you also goes out to the Brookhaven Lions Club for their six members who traveled to the game.
