I had the pleasure of meeting with the Yazoo City Lions Club on Thursday, September 1, 2022. With me was our 1st Vice District Governor, Tom Corlett.
I have been to a few of their club meetings in the past and found they are the type of Lions you would expect. They are dedicated to serving others in need and a delight to be around.
Included in my speech was a quick overview of how to grow membership by Asking, Welcoming, and Followup. Once I concluded, the president of the club, James Patterson, commented that my discussion about growing membership was very timely. Their club for the past month or so has been discussing the need and ways to grow their membership.
