Mike Flynt is the Executive Director of the Mississippi Lions Eye Bank where he has worked for the past 36 years, actively promoting the need for organ and tissue donation. Flynt has served as Vice Chairman of Missippi’s Coalition on Donation and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the MS Organ Recovery Agency. Flynt is a Certified Eye Bank Technician.
Flynt spearheaded an effort to develop the country’s first TOPSoccer league for the blind and visually impaired. As a result of his efforts, Flynt was named NWRAA’s Coach of the Year, MS Youth Soccer Association’s Coach of the Year, Adidas United States Youth Soccer Association Region III Coach of the Year and was recognized as USA Today’s Most Caring Coach of the Year.
He was married to Stephanie Bell Flynt until her passing in 2018. He has four children and attends Pinelake Church. When Mike is not working, he enjoys hunting, fishing and cheering for Mississippi State University and the New Orleans Saints.
